RadarNow 6.7 v229 Beta Released

There's a problem with the current conditions that required an update to RadarNow! to fix.

We've finished the update and have tested it out the best we can. Our testing has revealed that everything works and the update was successful, however, only a wider audience can prove that out.

To opt in to the Beta version and download the 6.7 v229 release, please follow this link:

As usual, premium users may see their premium status revert to free for a minute or two after downloading this version. Just exit RadarNow! and restart and premium should be restored.

Specific things to look out for:

1. Current conditions and forecast functioning as normal.
2. Free users seeing ads.
3. Premium users NOT seeing ads (wait a minute after upgrade for premium to be established).
4. Maps loading and looking as they should.
5. People installing RadarNow! after uninstalling should see the new permissions screen.
6. There should be no crashes.

If there are ANY malfunctions, crashes or other non-normal behavior, please let us know so we can fix it promptly and issue an update.

We had a number of three way switches in our house that didn't work when we moved in. In fact, not one worked right. Whomever wired the house back in 1986 either didn't care or didn't know how to hook them up correctly. If you're not an electrician, or are not familiar with their standardized technical terms, the troubleshooting guides available might be confusing or useless. Zip Code Boundary Maps

In 2005, I wrote one of my first custom mapping projects using the recently released Google Maps API. It was a fairly crude map that used the Census Tiger ZCTA' s (Zip Code Tabulation Area) to display a representation of a Zip Code area. Matt Cutts, at the time, a major player at Google in search, wrote a blog post called "Fun with Zip Codes"  that caused my site to get an average of 70,000 unique visitors a day for about a week. The traffic that Matt's blog post caused made me consider that there could be a market for this type of site so I looked deeper into the issue and learned a number of interesting things.
